Heeeey guys:) I wanted to share a personal success story of personal client/friend that has inspired me every single day to educate myself to help thousands of people:) Kaitlyn you are a TRUE INSPIRATION:))) THANK YOU!

I am 31, the mother of 7 year-old Sam, I am in the United States Army! I wanted to share my experience with you.
I have always been athletic. I played basketball for a couple of years in college, but after that I kind of lost my way. I dabbled in the Master’s Swim program, Ultimate Frisbee, lots of volleyball, but nothing that had a real structure to it. I drank too much and my nutrition was very poor and it showed. By the time I was 30, I figured it was time to start being the person I wanted to be and not the person I had become, but I needed some guidance. I thought it would be a good idea get a trainer and get on a program. I met Steve Auxier at the gym through his brother Jason and decided to begin training with Steve last November.
I like to workout hard and I like the fact that Steve pushes me during my workouts. He teaches me the proper technique so that on the days that I am not training with him, I feel confident that I can do the exercises correctly so that I won’t injure myself. But the best part of all of this is that I actually know the strategies that I need to implement to be successful, whereas before I felt like I was just kind of driving blind. My knowledge of fitness and nutrition has really increased exponentially, and that alone is a success.
I’ve learned that if I plan my meals and time for workouts and write them down for the week, I’m successful. When I get lazy and think I’ll just go with the flow that week, I fail almost every time. If it’s not written down, it’s not real, and I can do whatever I want which is eat nachos and drink beer–very bad for the physique.
It took a lot of failing before I actually got anything right. And even the best laid plans aren’t bulletproof. I fall flat on my face a lot (i.e. make poor eating choices or don’t push myself like I should at the gym, fall into old habits), but I realize what I’m doing and I can rally. I may have set backs from time to time, but “it’s not how many times you fall down, it’s how many times you get back up.”
Now I can see the veins in my arms!!! Okay, seriously, I am much leaner than I was back in November when I started. I am WAY more consistent in getting to the gym and have made it a priority. I’m happy with the way I look, but I want to push myself to get better. There are areas that still need some extra focus. I thought I would compete in a figure competition this year, but I never seemed to get it all together. I AM going to compete in one figure competition. Even if I get last. At least I can say that I tried.
